This is a relatively new company - they import the Santo Domingo brand coffee from the DR. I've ordered from them a few times, shipping is very quick. I love this coffee. Not sure how the price compares to the discount brands in the grocery stores, but this coffee is worth a few extra bucks IMO.

Enjoy

Thanks, OP. How does this compare to other choices, like Illy, Kicking Horse, Death Wish, etc?

Where are they shipping this from? Will this be a problem going through customs?

Hmm, I don't think the grounds are vacuum sealed like the bricks are. Would unopened grounds lose their freshness in a few months?

Correct the non-bricks are not vacuum sealed. Any coffee (even the bricks) will lose its freshness, even if left unopened, after a few months. There's usually a "best before date" on the bag. You can still brew it though and to be honest, a lot of people would never notice the difference.

If you want to try the coffee before ordering, loblaws carries the grounds and their website has a $2 off coupon making it $3/lb

coupon said $2 off a pound of either ground or whole bean coffee. just to clarify your saying that even with the $2 off whole bean in store, its still cheaper to order online?
