Called up Rogers Relations today, which deal should I get?
Hey guys,
I need your advice. I called up Relations today and I got the following offer:
$25/month -- 3 years
unlimited incoming calls anytime
100 daytime outbound calls (until 9)
1000 nighttime outbound calls
call display
1st year free service
choice of nokia 3220, e316 or v220.
- OR -
$23/month (corp plan) -- 2 years
unlimited nights starting at 6pm and weekends
200 daytime
enhanced VM
call display
18c/min long distance coast2coast
free 3way/call waiting during unlimited periods
possible discounted phone (not free though)
which one should I get?
If I get the 25/month, which phone should I get? Probably would want to sell it off to get a T637.
For #1, I don't have to pay the bills for a whole YEAR.
I use 700-1000 minutes a month and rarely go over my 200 daytime. I use maybe about 150 daytime a month.

For these plans you get either unlimited calling for the first year *or* free monthly service fee. Not both. If you got both, woohoo.
Second year, switch to a lower cost plan or look for another deal.

Right. I am probably going to do this:
I would go with option #1, if it's either free MSF or FOS for one year AND if, and only if, I can switch back to option #2 after one year.
If switching after one yes is a no go, then I will stick with option #2 but ask for a free phone for a 3 year term.
Makes sense?
