Can I subscribe to a "search" ?

I've been trying to find a trick for some times... I would like to be informed, whenever there is a new thread in "Hot deals", having a specific word in the title. e.g. Costco

I can do a manual search:
search.php?keywords=costco&terms=all&ta ... mit=Search

But I can't find how to be alerted when this search returns a new result. Anyone knows a way to do this, or to achieve the same thing?

Thanks!

I've been working on getting the Topic Alerts system integrated into search. With any luck we'll see that this year and then people will easily be able to add search terms to alerts if they want to.

Another idea... RSS feed for specific topics and/or tags.

Tags aren't the most useful or accurate system we have but there might be some way to improve the RSS feeds. I'll check to see if it's a possibility though.
