Can I transfer Airmiles from one collector to another?

I checked out the website, and it said "No, you cannot transfer AIR MILES® reward miles to another AIR MILES® Collector. However, you can redeem your AIR MILES® reward miles for someone else."

Are they saying that you can give Airmiles as a gift? If so, that would work for me (as long as there isn't a penalty for doing so).

The instance they are talking about is if the other person gives them permission(i.e added as additional person on the card). Then you may redeem the points on the card, I did this when I was booking a hotel.

Good luck

Business Airmiles can be transferred to another account...
You asked:

How do I transfer my AIR MILES® reward miles to another account?

Results:

To transfer AIR MILES reward miles to another account, you must complete a Transfer Account Form and mail or fax it to the AIR MILES Service Centre.

Please be aware that only AIR MILES For Business® Collectors can transfer reward miles.

Correct. However, you didn't specify the type of Collector you were.

I don't know maybe it just depends on the situation but recently I asked if I could transfer all my points over to my husbands card since we would only be using the one now and they had no problem with that at all. Just gave me a fax number and a list of info they needed. Address, account numbers and a signature and the set it all up for me. I did this by calling the 800# on the card sometimes I think it pays to talk to an actual person and forgo the email bullcrap.
Never argue with a fool - they will drag you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

Instead of bumping a 3 year old thread, why not read it and do like people suggested....that is to call 1-800 number.
