I find I have saved money on stuff I needed.
I now always look on here to see if stores I shop at have sales.
I wouldn't have thought of PM (price matching FS and St@ples for printers and other things I needed).
Now that I'm actually making less money than before, it also helps to save alot on groceries and knowing what the food specials are.
Too bad I don't eat MCd's, but there are alot of other deals around!

All the money I save on hot deals, I spend on hot deals!
Seriously, RFD saves you money on this you would have bought otherwise, but the problem is it shows you things you wouldn't have bought otherwise and you buy them.
RFD has made me spend more money than I did before RFD.

That's a stupid question, they're both dead. Person (A) can't play with his toys anymore and Person (B) can't admire his savings anymore.
As to which was likely happier while alive, probably the one with savings. It's be proven that buying things does not make a person happy. Rich Americans who buy everything they want are much less happy than many people in poor countries who can barely afford to eat.

I think the happiest person would be the one who has enough money to live without worrying about money every day, yet who hasn't had to kill themselves working stressful jobs their whole lives.
