Can/should you give feedback for an incomplete sale?
I sold a gift-card to an RFD member last week, and mailed it last Monday. It hasn't arrived yet despite us living fairly close. We have a sneaking suspicion it was lost in the mail. I'm going to refund the amount paid if it doesn't show up by tomorrow. Should feedback be given in a situation like this (either positive, negative, or neutral)?
edit; and by feedback I mean sent by either buyer, seller, or both. I have a feeling I should give him a positive feedback for prompt payment and communication, and he should give me a neutral for no receipt of items (although a refund was given).

just wondering,
if the both of you live close, why bother to mail it? seems slightly sketch to do that.....
delivering it would of been safer on both your part and that nice of you to give a refund on that

By close, I meant about 2-3 hours apart. I'm too busy to take the trip and I'm sure he is too.

Ooo lol ok thats slightly further then what i thought xD
did buyer pay for shipping?
if so did you pay for track-able or just regular mail?
also when you did mail it, did you wrap it around some paper so you can't see thou the envelope? cause some people at canada post are insane and they would open stuff like that and take it @_@;

I paid for mailing (was just for an envelope and stamp), and put it into a greeting card so to give the envelope some weight and make it impossible to see through.

If that was the buyer, seems your trouble is already resolved. Personally, if you're willing to refund and he's not a stickler, why not both give positives?
