can someone tell me about Taiwan???
I am thinking of vacationing there while I am over at HK. So i am just gonna go over for a 3 day weekend. what should I know??

You can probably just book flights and hotel from a travel agent in HK (while you're there), it wouldn't be that expensive.
Make sure you have the proper documentation to go there, but if you hold a Canadian passport, you shouldn't need anything else to enter Taiwan.

Surely this forum would not be your "search" for all things Taiwanese? Try tripadvisor.com, lonleyplanet.com or virtualtourist.com. More importantly, use the forums on those sites to get your information.

That and lonelyplanet.com's forums are very well organized by country and even region.

goto a travel agency in HK (any will do), just look for the flight+hotel packages. They should be quite cheap, $200-300 cad.
of course hit the clubs: LAVA (open bar), luxy, room18... list goes on and on...

sick, open bar/?? what city is that in?? Taiwan is quite big compare to HK.
