You take coupon to grocery store to get free cake. they say no purchase necessary. the scratch and win comes in flyer. im sure they will give them out at store as well. please abuse this freebie. I hate these promotions. Im on a diet.

The paperboy who delivers the freebie weekly newspaper hasn't delivered the Wednesday edition which normally contains most of the weekly flyers (CT, Safeway, IGA, Super Store, etc.).

It was rainy last Wednesday and I'm sure the paperboy has some issue with delivering during wet days. I swear that whenever it's wet outside, I can count on no newspaper being delivered. Whether that's paperboy's policy or the newspaper's delivery policy I don't know.

Anyways, it's a free paper so I can't complain too much. I'll have to look online for the flyers, but I rather look at the physical print editions as it's much more convienent.

I just hope that the paperboy hasn't horded all the scratch and win's from the CT flyers.

You should call the paper to let them know that you are not getting regular deliveries. While they are free, they are still supposed to be delivered each Wed & Fri by 6pm, unless it's inclement weather - then it must be delivered the next day. Many people don't realize this. The carrier is likely being paid for both deliveries, yet only making one and the company has no clue unless you call them to tell them. I hear that all the time in some neighbouring streets. My son is a carrier and does it after school promptly, usually before 5pm b/c some neighbours are VIP's and must receive it promptly (before 6) or else they call the office to complain that they didn't get it on time - yes, even for a free paper, they'll complain. It does keep the carrier honest & responsible .
