Can trojans hide in msoffice files?
Long story short i got a trojan that i cleaned out. do they infect *.doc and excel files too? norton shows nothing

The worst virus I had was disguised as a .doc file. I couldn't get rid of it, only a complete reinstall.

Trojans can prevent the AIDS virus...so it's not always bad to have a Trojan.

Well I basically Nuked the partition that had the OS on it and norton ghosted an image from like a week ago. and then i deleted all *.exe files. Now i'm only worried about exe's inside rars and zips and infection of my document files.

Oh yeah thanks great advice! I should have noticed when the file was called VIRUS.EXE oh silly me I should have known!
