Have a pile of assorted wire coat hangers from drycleaners, not sure what to do with them.
Any ideas? Can they be recycled? Scrap metal?

Peel Region has a website that you can ask about items that aren't mentioned in their handbook.

It looks as though they can't be recycled. They would have to go in the garbage if you can't find a reuse for them.

Most dry cleaners are pretty happy to take them back (as long as the cleaning is done on premises).
Make sure you keep a couple for yourself and a couple in the car. They really come in handy for all sorts of reasons.

THROW THEM OUT in the garbage. SO WHAT??? It's garbage!
Just toss it out .... you're wasting time looking for places to recycle and wasting gas to travel to places (ie. ummm ... recycle one thing but polluting with gas!) ..._______________

either collect a lot of metal and post on kijiji for metal recyclers to pick up (has to be a sizeable load)
or
drop off at the dry cleaners. Some of them reuse them.

Yeah as these are steel wire so these are recyclable. We usually use it for TV antennae or Radio Antennae on a car or sell them to dry cleaners.
