Canada Computer Pre Builts... Any good??

Hi,

Anyone have any comments on CC prebuilts?

I'm in need of a new computer for work and gaming..
I don't know how to build my own so I need a prebuilt one.

I was looking at the:

Visionary I7000

Mercenary P9000

I want to play some of the new FPS games like BF2142 etc....

Any comments regarding CC prebuilts will be appreciated or recommendations to another store would be great too.

Both video cards are bad, The Visionary I7000 video card being very bad.
you wont be able to play the latest games on either computer with those video cards.

Also you get what you pay for. With those 2 computers you will get a cheap case with low level cooling when compared to something like an Antec 900, also not to mention the cases are not very good looking.

also im pretty sure they are using some cheap PSU that will probably die on you in the near future especially if you try to add a decent video card.

Cheap ram, of course if you dont plan on overclocking or anything you should be good.

you also get no Operating system.

just to give you a comparison when I built computers I will not build anything fo under $1,000. The reason for this is that I use higher end brand name parts because I dont want any of my clients to come back to me a few months later saying the PSU blew or this does not work and so on. To this day I have yet to have a client come back to me with a hardware problem from a computer that I built for them.

Spend the $$ and you will get a better system.

What PSU and case are used in the I7000? I am also looking to buy a cheap pc now (not for gaming) and will probably use this pc for 3-4 years before replacing the mobo, ram and adding a video card.

Just get a dell when there is a "HOT, xxx for $3xx.xx" thread.

During the time when I started this thread, I decided to buy the parts from NCIX and try to build my own..
I must say its not as hard as it looks, everything is all plug and play...

I don't think I will buy prebuilts anymore since I have the knowledge of building them..

you dont need a high card for bf2142
I have a 7600 GT and i play on high!

I built my own computer like some of you here, but most people just buy built computers. You can buy the parts you want when you build your own.
