[Canada Computers] Acer Aspire Refurb (i7 7700, GTX 1060 3GB, 16GB RAM, 128GB SSD, 3TB HDD, WIFI, Win10) $1150

Should be a pretty decent deal. This is a refurb model, so be aware. Quite a few in stock across the stores.

Specs:

i7 7700
GTX 1060 3GB
16GB DDR4
128GB SSD
3TB HDD
Wifi AC
Windows 10 Home

There's another good PC from Amazon: iBUYPOWER Amazon PC (http://forums.redflagdeals.com/amazon-c ... s-2127805/), the Acer is overall weaker but at a $450 less.

Major differences:

Acer vs iBUYPOWER
7700 (non-OC) vs 7700k
GTX 1060 3GB vs GTSX 1070 8GB
128GB SSD vs 240GB SSD
3TB HDD vs 1TB HDD
Stock Cooler (Probably) vs Aftermarket
500w PSU vs UKNOWN
Regular case vs Tempered glass
DVD vs NONE

Common things between them: 16GB RAM (unknown speed on the Acer, 2400MHz on iBUYPOWER -not that fast), Windows 10 Home, AC Wifi, GLAN, 1 year manufacturer warranty with their respective manufacturer.

Overall, if you're gaming, the iBUYPOWER is definitely better.

Wonder if I should get a brand new one with 2 year warranty and better return policy from Costco for $1300 .

If I was in the market, I would take the one from Costco for sure. I know it’s not the true RFD way but that’s what I would do.

I bought that Acer GX before price matched it from Costco with Best Buy. Within the first few days it started randomly restarting itself when I'd be just browsing the web; and so I returned it. This refurbished one probably had the restart problem. Seemed like a common issue from the reviews on Best Buy.

I just pulled the trigger and bought this from Costco. Ended up being ~1475 after taxes and free shipping. With canadacomputers it was 1300 total. So I spent an extra 170$ for it as a non-refurbished, 2 year warranty product. Hope it turns out well :)

Very good deal

Only issue with this is if you ever had to return it Dealing with Canadacomputers is like pulling teeth. :( defective or not they will try to make it your fault and not let you return it, even if it was within the warranty period.

Nothing but problems anytime i deal with CC. Ncix is gone, So retail outlet wise Im forced to Deal with them sometimes but even for some defective blurays i had to eat the cost. :(

Yup this is what I heard to, which is why I ended up paying extra for Costco warranty

sounds like a better choice. paying $170 more for non-refurb and 1 additional year of warranty is no-brainer to me.

The Dell laptop with 6gb gtx 1060 on the other thread is the same price. Everyone here should return this and get the laptop.

Yeah, I don't understand why PCs cost so much nowadays. Used to be a time when a similarly spec'ed laptop would cost 30-50% more and run like crap. And you are going to spend a few hundred on a decent screen, speakers, webcam, UPS, computer table etc if you want to use it... seriously, what's going on.
