Blame the miners not CC, no one is getting any deals on Video Cards this year.
I don't have any idea what mining is, but the video card deals suck. Black Friday the Zotac 650 was $49 after $10 rebate. I was looking for a deal on the 650 or 660.
They say technology was supposed to make life easier. Sure had me fooled.

Miners don't really care about nVidia cards though. AMD cards are much more efficient at mining hence why the R9 29x , R9 280x , 7970 and 7950 and pretty much out of stock everywhere and those left are like 100$ over MRSP.

But you are correct. As long as the mining renzy continues deals of video cards , especially AMD , won't come often if at all for a while
Strikes me that miners have been just as big a bonus to Nvidia as they pretty much eliminated their competition and left them the better part of the entire enthusiast market - IMHO they actually might come out ahead as the customer base that will actually still be around long after the miners have gone is getting skewed now in their favour.

On the bright side when this mining fade does die there might be a lot of high end used deals around.

anyone have any clue on WTF the price is for the Samsung 2.1 sound bar may be? if it's 150 I got the lower end modal for that price and can return that as its a gift for someone and I'll just get the higher end one. WTF is with the goofy not telling you the price crap.

Most likely $119.99 like on Black Friday. Hoping for less though.

That's a good point. Those who wanted a card for Christmas pretty much had to look at nVidia since AMD GPUs are pretty much out of stock everywhere. I've seen a few pop up in the last few days though , most notably the Gigabyte R9 280x for 399$ and an ASUS reference 290 for 500$. nVidia cards are much more available right now.

And yeah we may see a flooding of AMD cards on Ebay etc if the mining frenzy slows down but personally i wouldn't touch a card that was used for mining with a ten foot pole. Those things are getting abused 24/7 which put strain on the GPU and most likely reduce it's life. Mining is hard on video cards

But back to the subject. I may be interested in the Senn HD 598 if the price is decent, I'm hoping for something like Amazon did during black friday (140$). Still pissed that i didn't grab one back then but i didn't really need a new pair. Now i do though :P

I wonder if they will honor that Samsung 55" LED TV for $99 lol. Based on their flyer: $799 and savings of $700 lol.

I should print the flyer and take it in store. Although I don't seem to find it online.

If I helped in any way, click that cool little "Thanks" button.
