Canada Computers - Sealed in package not good enough
I haven't tried to return it but it just sounds so sketchy I just figured no manager would believe me.
About 2 months ago, I bought a pack of DVD+DL from CC-Hamilton to make some backups. Things got pushed back and I never had a chance to open it up till now. At first everything was going well. Then after the 3rd disc, I noticed something strange about my Verbatim stack of DVD+DLs. The 4th disc said Ridata on it. wtf? That was a coaster. Then another coaster. Mind you this whole thing was still sealed in plastic when I bought it. Then 2 Xbox backups and finally a DVD with Canadian Wild written on it ... Hmm guess what ... It's a porno.
I've seen their practices of putting back returns on shelves and that's not so bad. But geez ... wtf ... sealed package of DVD+DL and all I get are 3 good Verbatim discs, 3 coasters, 2 Xbox games and a porno?

I know pretty much anything can be re-sealed but that was ridiculous to get used media like that.

Some music stores used to re-seal too. Nothing like spending $18 to find out the disc has scratches on it. When I went back to complain they told me it shouldn't effect it's play. It shouldn't effect it's play!!!! How about it effecting it's price to $9!!!!

damn thats BS, I never thought that would ever happen. Horrible, and the worse thing is that they will deny it.

My brother once bought a new Great Big Sea CD, that actually had marching band music on it(though it was stamped as if it was a Great Big sea album)
I tried to convince him it was for the best, but he just had to go back and return it :p

and after years of treating the customer like crap they wonder why they've been abandoned for Itunes/torrents.
One time I ordered in a Pixies 4 disc vinyl set (pre-paid since it was an indie music store). Packaging arrived bent on the back. Store didn't care. And then they were surprised that customers like me stopped shopping there when online came along and they went out of business._______________There's no billing mistakes when you get your TV and phone for free!

Buying from CC is a game of chance. You never know what you'll get and your story is the most ridiculous I've heard yet. I bought an LCD with finger smudges some years ago and thought was that bad. Don't give them your business is usually a good recourse.
Imagine these scum bags were a restaurant; no, that would be enough to send people regurgitating their last meal.

The worst thing is CC always states when you buy media that there are "No refunds or exchanges on media" so they're covered in the event something really ridiculous like this happens.

This guy is the manager:

Anyways, complain like an SOB to him and he will give your money back! Guaranteed! The key is to keep complaining.
I have done like 5 full refunds (They was no defects and no restocking fee)
