Canada Post ... didnt get my package?
I've done online shipping through EST and have had no problems so far, but recently ive sold an ipod on [rfdlink=/forums/autolink/redirectpage.php?linkid=78]ebay[/rfdlink] and needed it to be shipped. I went to ship it using the online tools and sent it in the red canada post drop box near a local shoppers.
When i check the status of the package, it says information electronically submitted, but it has no "received and in sortation" for a week now.
Am I screwed?? I have it insured, but is it covered since they might think that i didnt even send the item out yet????

Often it won't be scanned until the day of the delivery if you dropped it into the Canada Post box.

CanadaPost allows small business to print their own label and stuff like that. It is part of the "e-service" that they offer. So when someone spec out the package, the person would receive a tracking number generated on the fly. However, such package may not reach the postal office at the same day.
This is what I was told when "electronically submitted" is shown. In fact, [rfdlink=/forums/autolink/redirectpage.php?linkid=17]Amazon[/rfdlink] uses that as well. Sometimes you'll see a package is "electronically submitted" but not yet received by the Post.
