Lobby your MP then.

Even if the monopoly is lifted, do you really think FedEx or Brown will be interested in delivering a letter from anywhere in Canada to anywhere in Canada for a dollar?

Really? Where? The post office at the local Shopper's Drug Mart around here closes at 9 pm.

2 days in a row at the same place? That's unexpected.

I tried that today; it worked as expected. If anyone needs advice on how to do it, just PM me tomorrow. I'll be available all day to answer.
I see. Sorry for the late reply, was busy being productive

I am confused. Is she against Canada Post. I was under impression Star and Heather Mallick supports Canada Post and unions.

No wonder Amazon started their own uber type delivery services.

I see Toronto being at it day 3.

Will find out later this afternoon. They are trying to force cp into either locking us out or bring a good offer to the table.

Letter mail volume is down. It is a money loser for Canada Post. No company in there right mind would try to deliver mail.. Parcels is where the money is at

Can someone outside the Scarborough delivery area give fellow GTAers a heads up when post service resumes?

I felt silly walking to the community mailbox empty-handed yesterday lol.

I think it would be different with the shift to community mailboxes but it's not universal.

Also the mail treaty with China might have to be revisited just like the US did.
