I find that rather funny and obviously skewed.

Canada: Rated #1 on Positive Influence
Ok, Canada rates 54 positive, 14 negative.. Hey, who voted the 14 negative??? I guess we don't have enough of a spotlight to piss off other countries.

Israel, Iran top 'negative list'
By Nick Childs
BBC world affairs correspondent
A majority of people believe that Israel and Iran have a mainly negative influence in the world, a poll for the BBC World Service suggests.
It shows that the two countries are closely followed by the United States and North Korea.
The poll asked 28,000 people in 27 countries to rate a dozen countries plus the EU in terms of whether they have a positive or negative influence.
Canada, Japan and the EU are viewed most positively in the survey.
'Traditional divides'
In January, the BBC World Service revealed polling results that suggested most people think the US has a mainly negative influence in the world - and that the numbers had increased significantly in the last couple of years.
This latest GlobeScan survey, mostly of the same people, confirms those findings.
But it also suggests that two countries are viewed even more negatively - first Israel, and then Iran.
North Korea is just behind the US.
Israel, of course, has long provoked sharp international reactions, and last year was involved in a controversial war in Lebanon.
Iran and North Korea have both been at the centre of international disputes over their nuclear programmes.
Canada, Japan, and the EU are viewed most positively, perhaps because they have all taken less high-profile roles in the world's recent confrontations.
India is one country in the survey that seems to have improved its standing in the last year.
In general, opinion seems to divide along the traditional fault lines of international politics.
Israel is viewed most negatively in the Muslim countries of the Middle East, although also in Europe.
Iran is viewed most positively in the Muslim world.
Japan is generally viewed positively, except in China and South Korea.
The EU similarly gets good marks, except most notably in Turkey, and also in parts of the Middle East._______________

Well, see how long that lasts with Harper's move to Americanize our policies, our Senate, our judge appointments etc. If the measures he's trying to pass were in place now, we would indeed have been in an active combat role in Iraq._______________

Canada exports asbestos to the Third World. It is also a well-known haven for foreign criminals. We club seals and we treat our First Nations people like shiat. I think these at least warrant the 14 negative.

First nations people are treated better than any other person in all of Canada. No, they aren't waited on hand and foot by the government, but neither am I. First Nations people are perfectly capable of taking advantage of everything this country has to offer, but far too many of them don't. Many First Nations people choose to do nothing positive with their lives. It's not the fault of the government, it's the fault of the person laying on the side of the road drunk 7 days a week.
Whatever happened to personal responsibility? Not that I expect much different from you. It's very obvious by your posts in this thread that you are a bleeding heart extreme left-wing Liberal who thinks the government should control every aspect of our lives, and should be blamed when people screw up their own lives.
First Nations people live in the same country as you and I do. They could have a similar life (if not better with the tax breaks, free education, etc.) but many choose not to take advantage of it. That's their own fault._______________

That is da biggest piece of BS i've ever seen. Japan broadcasts people eating each others siht on live TV and they also broadcast shows wit spy cams looking up skirts and other messed up things they show on normal television. They are much worse than US in the pronos. How can that be positive?

You've convinced me. After reading your post, I've had a sudden change of heart. Japan's porno's are raunchier than US porno's, so Japan shouldn't be anywhere near the top of the list. In fact, their porno's are so raunchy, we should just nuke Japan to put them out of their misery. I mean damn, what kind of disgusting, perverted, sick country would allow it's private citizens to produce raunchy pornographic films? /end sarcasm
