How long do you think it'll be before some Saudi person living here gets to her on orders of her family back home?
Could HAVE, not could OF. What does 'could of' even mean?

OP. Its not bad decision. We grant asylum to killers, terrorists so this is good case.
The only problem now is if anyone can use similar tactics to get asylum anywhere. be it legitimate or not.

Good Question. May be the answer is "election coming".
Aus or NZ are also safe countries.

I get the need for someone to grant her asylum but Canada granting her asylum reaffirms the view of a lot of people that we're a country with completely open borders. We're spending hundreds of millions a year to process asylum seekers and millions trying to convince more asylum seekers not to come here and Trudeau yet again is telling the world our doors are open.

Ottawa on pace to spend more than $1-billion over three years on unauthorized border crossings: watchdog

https://www.theglobeandmail.com/politic ... crossings/
In a report released on Thursday, the PBO estimates the government spending at $340.2-million last year, $367.8-million in the current fiscal year and a projection of $395.9-million in 2019-20. It said the average cost for each migrant who entered Canada between border crossings is $14,321 for the entire refugee claim process. That figure is predicted to rise to $16,666 in the fiscal year that begins April 1, 2019, as wait times in the system get longer.

I'm all in favor of providing refuge to people who recognize the value of secularism and freedom, and want to escape their own oppressive countries and religions. It sure seems better than letting in people who just constantly bash Canada and remain loyal to their former home.

Also, this is a good opportunity to stick it to SA even more; hopefully they'll move to cut even more diplomatic ties so we don't have to deal with their barbarism anymore.

as I said before I agree with this. At least she is not terrorist. We should stop importing oil from SA and multi-billion dollar arms sale to Saudi Arabia.
Also bring all Sikhs to Canada so no more supporting Khlasitan movement. They can have it here. Then we can elect NDP leader as PM. Like you said he is more worried about whats happening in India than here.

She and her case arent a problem.

The problem is Two-Socks-Trudy grabbed her for a photo-OP when she already stated to the media she was on her way to Australia.

true

And good choice—she is probably safer there considering all the randoms that just push into Canada. Plus the weather is better.

Wait, wth, she is headed to Canada. Poor gal.

what you say might be true. Just watched the interview on CBC and the guy was telling Canada were involved in this from beginning. They approached everyone and everywhere. So its not UN but Canada went to everyone. But as I said I have no problem her being here. Better her than any terrorists or killer.

And just reading Star.

Ottawa proposes open permits for migrant workers who are abused

Is there election coming?
