For coin collectors ... hopefully you re-sellers don't snatch them all up Angry Face

There's a few other coins discounted as well ...

Star Wars themed are 15% off but I got a BB-8 one for 20% off (final sale) at the CP outlet at the SDM on Davie St, Van -- couple others (not BB-8) left there as well but didn't pay attention to which as my son only likes BB-8 (I think there was a Kylo Ren).

Don't worry, there is zero interest in this coin by coin collectors. That is why the coin is being discounted by 40%.

Good luck in re-selling it because only one of these coins have sold on eBay in the last few months and it sold for $51. Buy it if you like it, otherwise it will just sit unsold or you can get rid of it by taking a loss.
Have a nice day!

$69? That's like 3x the price of plain silver!

Exactly! That's why I didn't buy them eventhough I pass CP everyday at work. These are more for novelties collectors. I am more interested on regular sliver coins or bars.

LOL, this is a tough crowd. 2 downvotes for "Not a good price" but not a peep on where you can get it for anywhere near this price, let alone cheaper. (Sure, LD above pointed out the ebay sale, but nothing is on offer now.)

if you want 1oz, RCM minted silver, and like cougars - you can pick up the bullion coin for ~ $26.50

Sure. I'll also be happy to serve you a bottle of Baby Duck when you ask for Dom Perignon next time you're in.

I guess the "For coin collectors ..." which I used to start the OP should have been in BOLD RED letters and announced with a fog horn?? Smiling Face With Open Mouth

These sort of things are a waste of money, just get bullion coins. The mints of the world pump hundreds and hundreds of this stuff out every day. They all want to be the Franklin Mint.

Thanks for sharing your opinion -- now I feel so much better about not buying one. Face With Tears Of Joy But I guess we differ in that I don't presume that everyone must feel the same way. Winking Face

I gave an upvote to the OP because it is good deal for coin collectors who collect these type of coins. 40% off issue price is pretty good for a big retailer like Canada Post.

I collect coins but I am not interested in this one But maybe other collectors may want it.

Some people on this thread is confusing the silver content with collector value which is totally wrong. If you want silver content get bullion. Collector coins like this cougar one is always several times the spot value of silver. Typical is 5x and 6x the spot value of silver for collector coins. So the Royal Canadian Mint sell many 1 oz silver coins for around $100 or 5x the spot value.
Have a nice day!
