CanadaPost really slow?

Is this a busy time for Canadapost?

It's taking forever for my item(s) to get to me ><

If you pay more, they will ship faster.

Anything from China is slow because they use the cheaper route.

This thread should be frozen because OP lacks any details whatsoever.

I can only assume he ordered something 10 minutes before posting this that is coming from Australia, and has ZERO patience.

Another explanation could be that they are doing total changes in the structure of how the mail is distributed from the plants to the station, including the Parcel hub in Mississauga, which could cause slow downs. But hey, everyone needs everything yesterday!

If you can't wait for a short period of time, you have two options:

1) pay a more expensive courier company to send it
2) get off your butt & go buy it from the store.

They are expedited parcel(s) from Vancouver and Toronto...

1 week is okay for the Vancouver parcel but the Toronto parcel taking a week isn't very nice...

I just found it odd that CanadaPost is taking so long. Ordered something less than 2 weeks ago and it took less than 5 days to come to me from Vancouver (MemoryExpress order)/.

But if OP wants to lock / close the thread. I don't care :P

You are the OP though.

I had a order from PA and it was within the GTA. I got it the same day. Regular shipping.

I'm shocked by all these replies. I honestly love Canada Post. If a company ships with CP I get my packages several days faster than if a company ships with UPS. I find Purolator better than UPS, but CP is always the fastest for me. Ordered something online yesterday morning, package was at my door today. No I do not work for Canada Post lol.

Lol so to answer your question OP, they are not slow (for me at least!).

Did you miss the part where I posted:

For people not in the know the government wants CP to fail so they can sell it and make it private.

Canada Post takes 5 business day to deliver a package in the surrounding area. Purolator disorganize company although on time for certain delivery.
