Prices are still more expensive than Canvape.

EVOD on sale for $6.49, Canvape has it for $4.95 at their regular price.

...Health Canada does not allow e-liquid that contains nicotine despite what you may believe... It's a fact.

Canvape supplies VG and PG among other things for DIY'ers... Right now a bottle of my all day vape costs me about $2.20... If I had to buy my essential supplies from another vendor it would cost me over $5 per 30ml... That's how expensive buying nicotine is in Canada.

Where can I get 48mg for cheaper?

I'll leave this up until you replied then I'll delete. :)
You're going to have to provide the explicit law since these are not scholarly or law sources. These kind of places are not wholly unbiased or fully knowledgeable.

I know where to get 125mL of 100mg/mL nicotine for 25$, which translates to 52.08mL of 48mg/mL nicotine for 5$. In Canada. :|

Just a thing to back this up. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=61vmEg09C5U#t=1255
Back it up with some dude's Youtube video?

Did you even bother to read the link?

Here's the important bit... Directly from Health Canada...
Electronic cigarette products with nicotine and/or health claims require authorization prior to being imported or sold in Canada. To date, no electronic cigarettes with nicotine and/or health claims have been authorized by Health Canada and their safety, quality, and efficacy remain unknown.

Electronic cigarette products without nicotine and without health claims can legally be imported and sold in Canada, provided they meet the general safety requirements of the Canada Consumer Product Safety Act. However, Health Canada advises Canadians not to purchase or use electronic cigarettes as these products may pose health risks.

Need an aid to quit smoking? Consider an approved product like nicotine gum, lozenges, patches, or the inhaler. Talk to your healthcare professional for advice on the product that's best for you.
So there you have it, it's contraband. Please don't try to counter with another Youtube video. :)

No, what I am stating is that they classified it under the food/drug law. Which eliquids with nicotine do not fall under. The only thing the government can do at this point is cease eliquids coming in.
