Based on the article, it will work on GSM carriers for text and voice. For data, looks like 3g would be the best from Canadian carriers. I suppose you could force it to work with only LTE but I don't think any of the Canadian carriers support voice over LTE.

I must have gotten one of the last ones. Will see if it works and if not send it back. Still not cheap by the time you factor in conversion and import fees.

No voice over LTE here in canada regardless so moot point. I will see if the willmyphonework.net website is good for its word I guess.

How much did it come to after conversion and shipping etc for you? I think it still available on the website?

Approx $400.00. Shipping was $12 US and import fee was $40 US.

Conversion was killer

Just an update to the original post as the phone has arrived and working well on Rogers. Lte works great and also Bellus compatible but no Wind/Mobi compatibility.

How's the voice quality? The phone is supposed to be quite good.

To be honest I haven't tried that but will later today. Quite pleased with the phone so far and I like the moto features like gestures and lack of bloatware compared to Samsung. I updated to lollipop as well so just checking out the new look. So far so good.

The only issues I can see is the 16gb size and battery. Too early to tell.

Motorola basically invented cellular radio. Their reception is second to none.

I asked about voice because I wasn't sure if this version of the phone supports voice on the big three. Voice will not work over LTE in Canada.

So just tried the voice and yes it's good. The voice over LTE isn't supported in Canada yet regardless as it switches to h+/3g on calls.

Thanks

I am assuming the deal isn't active anymore. I might be selling mine. Are you interested?
