How do you happen to be so familiar with the kinds of men that frequent prostitutes?
Because I know guys that have gone to them and they are not normal dudes.
Have I offended you?

If anyone hasn't read the reddit thread please peruse through it. This literally made my morning.
yep ...
I wouldn't buy a condo. Your exponential growth in income will begin to stabilize for a variety of factors; one being you can only be used so many times in the day. It's not like you can hire some to do your work. Also as you age you may expect a decrease in client base.

Thought it was interesting. I knew sex workers made significant amounts of money (after all they charge 200-300 an hour) but this is surprising. I'm sure some make more.

Should we legalize this and start taxing it already?
Isn't that poor by Toronto standards :lol

It's pretty common for business travelers to use "high-end" escort services. They are normal, successful and make good income.

Prostitution in Canada is not illegal and technically speaking they are supposed to pay income tax.

Sure 10k a month sounds great but it isn't for life. The cost that people are willing to pay will decrease as she ages. Heck she may even have to retire by age 40.

On the other hand, if the average Joe makes 3k a month, chances are that as he or she ages they will make more thus balancing out the equation eventually.

And let's not forget the verbal, emotional, and physical abuse these women have to to through each time. Also the higher chance of contracting an STI

This is all before so not my net. Last month i brought in 11k but hotels were about 1500$ and advertising was $600-700. I have to regularly put money back into my business in terms of beauty needs (hair, nails, etc all adds up very quickly and is an integral part of my expenses). This month I'm spending $1000 on a photoshoot as I am overdue and good sex worker services are not cheap lol.
She definitely has a spending problem. Makes 11K, spends $3K for work purposes and the rest ??? and couldn't save a penny. Doesn't have a mortgage or a girlfriend either

Prostitution itself is not illegal but solicitation, advertising and profiting from it is along with paying for sex

So in practice, it is illegal I would say

$10,000 a month CASH... that's equivalent to making $200,000 a year. That's pretty good money. dont know if it's worth the lifestyle though.

a woman would need to deal with a lot of pretty messed up dudes... like guys that go to prostitutes on the regular are not normal people. there are a lot of messed up guys in particular. like the friendzone disgusting guys. Perma friend zone, always crying that they can't get a woman. like these are truly creeps.. now think you are a woman, having to sleep with these men, and comfort them.. man... sounds gross to be honest.
That's a overly generalized comments. Look at the papers, all type of people go to prostitutes. High end business men, politicians, sports stars etc. Sometimes its easier than being in a relationship (probably cheaper too, just ask Tiger Woods).

And $8,000 goes to their pimp and Hells Angels and the other $2k goes up their nose in white powder. This is why you will always see these women working and deteriorating themselves until after 6 years they become $40 a pop meth hookers.

I just read through some of it, and people are on there were pretty awesome. Some good suggestions and nobody was being judgmental. More considerate than RFD would probably be given the same post.

I really liked this post though

"I've done mortgages for women who work in the sex industry. It is complicated if they aren't doing their taxes and filing income properly. The women I helped were listed as self-employed emotional support workers. I had Notices of Assessments to back up their income claims.
These women I did help went to another bank and told them what they did and they were turned down by the underwriters. Just change the profession from "prostitute" to therapist or something like that and it's fine. I changed a strippers job title to performance artist and it was fine."
