What?!?! I heard this was developed by NASA and tested on the International Space Station! It's Zero G approved, worth every penny of the $1099.99 Canadian Tire Regular Price. This is just an astonishingly good discount! Don't look a gift astronaut in the mouth!

Tiger or Zojirushi.

Only two brands for good rice cookers.

Black & Decker .... Just stick to making your drills and saws.
Stress is caused by NOT fishing enough.

Ah Canadian tire. The company that has terrible customer service and overpriced products. Flyer are filled with junk for 90% off. Also they are ending lifetime warranty on the CT house brand tools because the stuff they make is shit and they will refuse to honour shitty products.

I know RFD takes rice cooking very seriously, but you guys are brutal ;)

This Black & Decker rice cooker has 144 reviews on Amazon.ca with a score of 4.3 out of 5 stars.

The cheapest Tiger rice cooker on Amazon.ca is $100, has a capacity of only 5.5 cups, and has a score of 4.2 out of 5 stars.

The cheapest Zojirushi rice cooker on Amazon.ca is also $100, has a capacity of only 10 cups, and has a score of 4.4 out of 5 stars.

Again, this is RFD, not everyone can afford or wants to spend hundreds of dollars on a super fancy rice cooker when there is a highly-rated large-capacity basic rice cooker available for under $20.

rfd'rs do take their rice cookers seriously. from someone that has the old old version of this, it has been decent. I only use it once or twice a month. I've learned that, if I stir a couple of times in the last few minutes, and I click it to warm about a minute or two before the rice is done, it doesn't burn. if i just set it and forget it, until I hear the click to warm. it will scorch and stick somewhat. for my limited use and rice not being a staple, it works well. if I was a once a week or once a day rice eater, I would definitely look into a tiger brand.
