[Canadian Tire] Canadian Tire - 50% off Gold Roadside Assistance (Starts June 22nd)

I thought I'd break this out from the other thread, since a lot of people like to jump on this deal. I noticed in the latest flyer they have gold @ 50% off with code "D326-17" at checkout ($49.95).

And this still comes with all the perks like a free and a few discounted oil changes?

My flyer starts the 22nd, but I didn't go through the motions to see if I could apply the code.

What is the date of that Flyer please? The code does not seem to work for me and I cannot find it in my current flyer. Thanks

I had success one year getting them to refund the difference on the Gold Plan when this deal came up about two months after I'd purchased it. In my case, I've had this for a number of years and rarely had to use it (virtually touching wood) so I don't know if this factored into their decision. In the worst case scenario, you can buy it anyway and then activate it when your plan expires. For me personally, this is the best plan around because it gives you over 200 kilometers towing to the location *of your choice*. This is quite different than some other plans where it's their choice, not yours. Although if you need the person covered rather than the vehicle, this isn't the right plan.
If I had more time, I would have written a shorter post

thanks OP. I've got an old car with 300,000 km +. I think it's time i got some good roadside assistance, and i heard this one is not too shabby.

If you prefer per driver, go with CAA?

never had this before, they talk about service providers but don't name any, I don't believe I've ever seen a canadian tire tow truck. didn't they have some plan that included CAA? also what if the vehicle uses synthetic oil?

So, If I need to cover 2 car, does it work like: $99.95 + $69.95 X 50% = $84.95 for 2 car?
