Awesome. Just in time to stock up the backyard of my new home. I'm hoping for at least a good deal on a deck box.

This is a fail of a clearance sale, most of the lower price items are still at regular price while the way over priced ones are 50% off but STILL more expensive than the regular items. (for example a medium sized BBQ cover is $27.99 vs Napoleon Cover @ 69.99 (50% OFF). Wasted my lunch break there.

I thought Leatherman Squirt PS4 for $21 was good deal. Paid 27+gst from amazon couple weeks ago.
I bought two more at Canadian Tire. Looks like most places sell for $30.

Go to
http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows...eningTools.jsp
And click on "sale items" on left hand side.
Can do the same for other areas on website to see other on sale items only.

hmm..
Anyone have input on this drill?

DeWALT 18V Compact Drill/Driver.
Does come with two NiCAD batteries which is a bonus...or would it be better off picking up a lithium battery based drill?
Only 25% off...could find better??

Picked up this Angle Grinder from Upper Gage & Fennel (Hamilton) this evening for under $20. Was one of two on the shelf. Opened it up when I got it hope and it's a pretty solid unit. Powered up like a champ!

I don't think that's a a good deal for a NiCad drill in 2012.
Try this one: http://www.homedepot.ca/product/18v-...n-drill/989087 EARN CASH BACK (not on sale)
Or these two: http://www.homedepot.ca/product/18v-...r-combo/997749 EARN CASH BACK (good deal for drill/drive and lifetime warranty on batteries)

who cares, you can switch to NiMh batteries later.
NiCd delivers the most current, just weight and detioration is the killer
