Can anyone confirm whether the globe smart plug supports power monitoring? It seems a few people are interested (quotes below), but I haven't seen a reply yet. @SmartSupport ?
It does not.

There are a few models that do, such as the TP-Link HS110. In fact all of the TP-Link smart switches support on-time recording, so if you know the average power consumption of the device connected to the switch, you can easily calculate the total power consumption by power x time. But these Globe switches don't even seem to have on-time recording.

i assumed it was the exact same thing, and wasn't doubting the quality. costco return policy just gives alittle piece of mind.

anyways, was just doin the weekend shopping and saw the CE smarthome plugs at Costco now $ 19 for 2 plugs, so alittle cheaper. as I already had a couple of these, i just decided to stick with what i know and get a couple more.
I am going to try Costco ones. My Globe plug Stopped working and had to return to CT this morning.

Paired one this morning using app. Now app doesn't work. Reinstalled but still not showing my setup. Anyone else having the same issue.
Yes, the app started to give me errors and all the schedules were removed. Was not able to get it up and running, so returned to CT.

I'm going to read this entire thread to see if anyone talks about the break-even point for these.
Never understood why I would need one.

Even though the app was not temporarily working, I was able to control the light through the google home mini.

I’m interested to know as well. The Amazon ones are on sale for the next 4 hours, so have to make a decision. Thx

If it is the same model that they sell online, it is $1,250W so it is 10A. Going to get the Amazon one, it is 16A

Its 25 (lightning deal) right now.
Not familiar with the lightning deal, it added me to the watch list. What does that mean, is it sold out for now?
