Someone should make this equation a law....

Who knows maybe they will even name it after them.

What do you guys use this for?

I was planning on using it to schedule my Turtle's basking light, so that it would turn on/off at a certain time, would that work?

Does the smart plug need my phone connected to wifi to know when to turn on/off?
Or does the timer scheduling work independently?

All these cheap plugs. I rather stick with the TP Link ones. They work. Every. Single. Time. And the app is amazing. So easy to setup.

Any chance this might work without a hub like Google home or Alexa? Like with just the Wink app?

I installed globe suite app and checked the FAQ.
You can create scenes per schedule or other parameters (weather, sunset...)

Yes, you'll be able to control it with Google home. You might need globe suite to setup the plug however.

Happy to see that we're starting to see cheaper smart home options! If only it'd worked with Apple HomeKit

At that price it's pretty much a steal though!

there is the manual

it says 15A (is it enough to calculate wattage?)
Thanks for finding out the amp.

At this price, it is cheaper than Costco CE plug which is now selling at $23.99 for a pair. I am hesitant to get one even though this is good price. Already have TP-Link and CE. Just do not want to install yet another (smart) apps on my phone which is running low on storage, unless it is Smart Life friendly.

Used it this past Winter to turn on my car's block heater a few hours before I left the house.

iPhone / iPad users, you can add the Globe widget in your control center, and then just click on the plug to switch it on or off
Faster than ever, love it for my bedroom nightstand light

Yes, assuming you have access to data (wifi or cellular) and your smart device has connectivity, you can turn your attached devices on/off from anywhere.
