[Canadian Tire] mastercraft mitre saw stand - $80

This stand goes on sale quite often, like most Canadian tire product, but I just bought the kobalt saw from lowes on sale and was waiting for a stand to go on sale.

Seems to have decent reviews and should be good for DIYers!

Saw one on the clearance rack today at the Canadian Tire on #3 Rd in Richmond BC, $60 because of "damaged box". I was tempted, but reminded myself that I don't have room for it.

Surprised that the Canadian tire regular price is not $899.99

This will work for pretty much any mitre saw. The only thing you may have to do is buy longer bolts if your saw requires it, but nuts and bolts are already included otherwise.
I have a 12" Hitachi saw on it, works great, would definitely recommend. A gravity rise stand would be better, but also a couple hundred dollars more.

Might go check this out, see if my little ryobi saw will fit.

You can mount almost any saw to the black 'arms' and then the arms attach to the stand. I've had this stand for almost 4 years (also bought on sale one time for $59 I think) and it works well. If you have the space, leave the saw on it full time. Otherwise, lift the saw off and the stand collapses into itself. Note: It is pretty heavy with the saw attached.

Picked this up 2 years ago on sale after I walked in and the dual compound was on sale. I have to say I am very pleased with the quality, as Mastercraft can be hit and miss.

Definitely recommend it.
