So there was no need to get the raincheck last week. :-)

They were literally sold out of Gold cards at the CT I went to. CT's Gold plan is likely the best roadside assistance plan in Canada for most drivers if you want the *vehicle* covered, whoever drives it. (If you want to cover the driver, whatever they drive, look at Costco - you don't have to be a member).

Note that CT hat removed the benefit of 10% discount for Sportchek, Atmosphere and Mark's Warehouse from the Gold plan. :-(

Online Exclusive or call 1-888-727-7478
I got it in a special mail from Canadian Tire and that's where I found it. Celebrating Canada's 150th.

If I already have my current CT assistance, can I buy this one and activate it in 6 months?

I don't see the need for the silver package.

So these plans cover the car regardless of who is driving, not the driver, regardless of the car.

I think March is the latest you can activate.

How is the CT roadside service? Is this membership transferable? ie. if I get a new car can I transfer the membership to that new car?

For the most part they use the same operators as the other roadside companies (they all subcontract out to small local tow operators).
Yes, you can call them to change the vehicle that is covered (buy a new car, etc.). I would imagine there is a limit to how many times you can do that in a year (so that you couldn't call to transfer coverage to your minivan when leaving to go on a long roadtrip and then transfer it back to your daily driver vehicle when back home.

Do they still have free oil change?
My card still had the free oil change
ALSO it says I have A YEAR to activate.
MAXIMUM towing range is only available a couple of days after activation.
