I got it on Nov 20, still haven't receive the package, so I check my email. It said:
"Your Canadian Tire Roadside Assistance welcome package will be mailed to you within a few weeks"
Seriously? Few weeks??

Bright side of RFD: 4 X Koodo $40/8GB plan
Dark side of RFD: Tons of stuff that I don't need but still got them because of RFD

Not everyone needs another CreditCard just because of road side assistance even if it is free. I am already happy with my current credit card. I get more cashback at more stores. I don't have to shop at CanadianTire (or participating stores only).

No one said you have to actually use the card.

I was offered this today when I called. Pretty happy activated my WMC for my free membership then signed up my wife at 50% then one of my kids at 50% so all three of us have full coverage for under $100. They did say today was the last day I believe.

This comes with a card that provides 10% discount at Mark's Warehouse. I am currently traveling and didn't bring my roadside assistance card. But I want to buy stuff at Mark's.

Is there another way to get the discount at Mark's?

Factory roadside is generally to the nearest dealership.
The Gold plan is anywhere you want within 250km.

I had almost forgotten about this deal.

I got it Nov. 20th as well and realized today it hadn't shown up yet. Not even a courtesy email but good to hear it's 'on the way', allegedly.

Same, do we call someone for the member card?
I’m also confused how they claim that we can use the service after 24 hours if we don’t have any information about our plan?

It's really not that difficult. Just call up the number on their website and give them the phone number you used when you signed up to reference your membership. Hope this helps.
