imo this product is horrible. I prefer the Bissell Steam mop instead.

i would definitely go for this one . picked this one myself and it's awesome, use it on the hardwood flooring and ceramic tiles . wife loves it

I believe Lowes was doing a promotion for 159.99$ and if you checked out with master card you received additional discount.

just speaking for myself .. no more mops or any other equipment to clean my floors .. pull it from the closet and you pretty much clean up messes or the entire house within minutes rather than manually like the old fashion way.

i guess i'm not rich enough to hire a maid but technology has made my life alot efficient and simplier

The Hoover carpet cleaner is something totally different. It only needs to be used once in a while, for cleaning up extreme messes or for a thorough carpet cleaning say once a year/two years or so. Your carpets will usually be damp after using it, so for that reason as well, it's not something you can do all the time.

Thanks for the explanation!

Not sure which one I should pick. I just paid $100 for someone to clean all the carpet in the house last weekend. Since we have a 2 years old baby in the house, we should clean the carpet frequently. Thanks

You could consider buying one of those smaller carpet cleaners to deal with spills, etc., as they come up, such as this one:
