Where do you see 50x event? I looked at the weekly flyer for this weeks sale and there is no mention of this.

Amazed this has got to three pages without the usual Israel / Palestine rants that usually accompany a Sodastream thread...

Anyway, for the CT money do you need to be using their card or will they give it to you in old school CT Money notes?

I probably will stop using my sodastream after this tank but this was too good to pass up. I used the card about an hour ago and my CT account had the money added immediately. Don't know about bills.

In the ON flyer, it's the 2nd last page (21 of 22). Possibly not all provinces I guess.

Is there anyway you can buy real coca cola syrup?
Yes you can, search on ebay, there you can find all coke and other flavors (sprite, fanta, diet coke, coke cherry, dr. pepper, etc. ) in 1 gallon or 5 gallons format. So good.

Mayrand also sells syrups in large quantity.

I've had a sodastream since about 2008. Back then I replaced the head of the sodastream CO2 tank to be able to refill it (they had an anti-refill system in place). A 20lb tank lasted me and my neighbor 3 years before needing to be refilled.

About 3 years ago I stopped using it and only restarted again a month ago.
This time, I bought an adapter that goes directly from the 20lb CO2 tank to the sodastream. Some estimate that a 20lb tank lasts for about 1300 liters. Not bad for a $25 refill from the fire extinguishing place.
Initial cost was the adapter ($110), a new CO2 tank ($170) and refill ($25). [comes up to $0.24/L]

Upon refilling the tank, I've learned that the fire extinguishing place now refills Sodastream tanks, as well as sell adapters for the sodastream. About same price as purchasing online.

If you don't have a sodastream, get the adapter to directly fill a 2L bottle, as it will be cheaper.
Which fire extinguisher place are you referring to?

Yes, they are exactly the same. I change mine in SC all the time and bring them home with no issues.
