Hi Everyone,

My Cousin is from the Phillipines and she came to Canada for work. She has a work Visa (W-1). she has a friend who lives in the US. Does she need to apply for US Visa?

Your Cousin is a Citizen of the Philippines on a Passport from that country I assume.
Her Cdn Status is seperate from whatever status she seeks in the USA

As a Citizen from the Philippines she is NOT from one of the countries for which a VISA is EXEMPT for Tourists
She needs to APPLY to the USA for a TOURIST VISA

Being in Canada, she can do this via the US Embassy (in Ottawa) or one of the Regional Consulates (Vancouver - Calgary - Toronto - Montreal - Quebec City - Halifax)

The information on how to, and wait time etc
Begins with a visit to the US Embassies & Consulates in Canada webpage = https://ca.usembassy.gov/visas/categori ... uirements/

Or the more general, US State Department - Travel Website
