canadianaffair.com
Has anyone ever purchased tickets through www.canadianaffair.com? Are they reliable? Did you order online?
Thanks!

Anyone? They seem reputable enough, I don't want to be out 2500$ of my friend's money though.

I was considering booking with them, but the times just don't work out.
I'd have to fly Tor->Glasgow->London->Toronto.
The only reason it was even possible was I realized how cheap Ryan air is. Within europe Ryanair is dirt cheap. From Glasgow->London it was only going to be total(after taxes and conversion) $20 Canadian.
So if anyone's looking for cheap airfaire to Europe try Ryanair to see if you can connect a cheaper flight to your destination.

I have booked with canadianaffair.com, I did not have any problems amd would reccomend them. Although I did enjoy my THomas Cook flight more then the My Travel Airways flight. Although both were fine and on time.

Well, it absolutely sounds like I'm booking through canadianaffair.com
Both flights will be on Thomas Cook.

Charging the flights to a credit card protects you against the liquidation of your carrier.

dont they advertise with 35' leg room which qualifies it as being better on the thomas cook?

The Thomas Cook flights have alot of room. At least I know they do if you leave from Toronto. MyTravel flights are alot tighter. If you were to book with Canadian Affair I would suggest booking the Thomas Cook flights.

how are they otherwise compared to flying with a bigger company such as air canada.. like the service on board, meals and in flight entertainment (if any)
also, how strict are they with luggage weight as i noticed you are only allowed about 20kg to be checked.. which dosnt' seem that much.

i think they're reputable enough to trust (when i was in london they had ads everywhere, including painted on a few london cabs):
http://www1.travelalberta.com/uk/taxi/
i haven't gone with them, but as i understand it, they don't actually have their own planes, they book you onto flights from thomas cook (and other charter carriers?).
as for baggage weight... i would try to stick closely to it... the charter carriers especially are VERY particular about that... i got burned for excess weight (my bags sillies!) when i came back on Zoom the other year.
cheers,
michael

I was just looking on their website (which by the way the prices look pretty good) but I can only do a search for UK to Canada and not vice versa. Any help would be appreciated

There should be a button something like "Canada->UK" or something. It's fairly obvious once you notice it.
When I was looking for airfair way back I didn notice that their site was down quite a bit.

My sister used to live in the UK and regularly booked with Canadian Affair for visits home, etc. She had no problems at all.
I always flew over with Zoom but that was only because the dates they offered worked better for me than CA.
