Since the deal was announced, it only broke $9 for the first time this week on sector hype (not convincing enough for me).

But Trst is being recognized and heavily pumped right now, along with Ogi (rightfully so) for being an undervalued play and a M&A target. I'd be more comfortable entering Trst at $9 than adding more Aph at 11.85 tbh.
My thoughts exactly. I'm holding my current 11.50 APH, but not adding. I may consider more if the summer presents us with ~$10 buy opportunities

TRST is really solid for a long-term investment, yet their day-to-day hype is big too.

And I like the pattern that the chart is forming. Took an entry position at 8.85

it will rally imo if its good news. the sell off has happened already.
I'm with you here. Right now people are just playing games, trying to save a few pennies before it gets nutty, just before close.

Get the popcorn ready

it will pass the senate.. the question will be how many amendments will there be. the amendments can be disregarded by the house of commons (i believe) before royal assent (which is a gurantee since the Liberals hold a majority).

I think the APH fan club is gonna give the BoughtDeal number a big FU and run it up into the 12.32-12.50 range before long here.

So, do you Alex want a $1k profit on a 6hr swing play, or roll it into a potential rally tomorrow??

Haha, that solves nothing for you does it!

Honestly not really a fan of the Oct 19 options, you could probably make slightly less % profit with the July options, or even a few swing plays with good entries and exits locked in when you buy the shares (as you've advised in the past). Then you can repeat a few times till Oct 19
