Thanks for the tip off. Thinking of switching from my current internet provider (Start). With all things being relatively equal (which they theoretically should be since both resell Rogers cable internet), this is definitely an offer worth considering.

We may get lower speeds, but at least we pay higher prices! :rolleyes:

Nothing keeping you stuck to Cogeco - I've been on Cogeco, Start, Teksavvy, Distributel, now the best deal yet Carrytel 60/10 unlimited for 30/month after cashback. Went from Teksavvy 120/10 and dont see much difference at all aside from no more unsolvable dropouts from when on teksavvy...

have had this service for 2 weeks so far so good every time i test the speed i get the 150meg down 15meg up im paying for, no complaints yet , modem arrived within a few days and activation was very fast, will see if it keeps up, so far very good service and price

I think their support is in India which might be why some Canadians have trouble understanding them due to minor cultural differences or accents.

I gave up on online chat support too....it's like they didn't even read my questions. And five minutes kept going by, and I'd write "are you still there?" and then they'd respond. Finally after doing that a couple times I just disconnected.

This reminds me I need to submit a ticket for the 90% less bandwidth and frequent disconnects I've been getting the evening and early morning lately. (East Toronto)
