Great lense for beginners and traveling photographers who is tired with carrying so much.

The previous cheapest I ve seen was 599 at Aden Camera.

Even cheaper than that from US.

Since I'm in Toronto and Broadway Camera is in BC only, I will need to price match FS online. I've never done it before (always went to a store for pm). Could someone let me know how to do it? Thanks.

I would buy it online through BC Camera if they offer free shipping as you save more overall. You won't pay PST if you buy via Broadway Camera.

buy at FS with PM 549-23=526+tax = 594
buy via BC with free shipping = 549 + tax = 576

If you really want to PM just order it at FS and call them up to do the PM. That's how I did it before and it was fairly painless.

I don't get an "Add to cart" button either. I thought it was just my firewall at work and was waiting to go home to check it out. Does anyone else see how to add to cart?

i read on canon forums and they say the 55-250 produces sharper images.. id just keep that one if you have it guys.. i also have the 18-55/55-250 combo.. $500 for this lense doesn't make sense.. its still a bad deal.

Wondering the same thing. Got the 18-55 kit lens and looking for a cheap 55-250 IS. Also picked up the 50mm from BB, so I think I'm pretty set with those three lens.
