Canon EOS M Bundle, Everything you need: $420

Deal Link:
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/331057104301?ru= ... 26_rdc%3D1
Price:
440
Savings:
50% off
$419 USD

You get:
the camera
zoom lens 18-55mm
prime lens 20mm f2
flash

all canon, all made in japan - very high quality

Not as hot as the $390 USD deal for the same bundle earlier this year.

I get $17 shipping to Calgary. Taxes are calculated at checkout.

Better than the various Nikon J1 deals. This gets you an excellent prime + flash. Bigger APS-C sensor with awesome low light - even with the 18-55. The touchscreen is great.

Its a slow focuser. But unless you are capturing sports, it should be ok.

Nope this one includes a $120 20mm prime lens.
It also comes with a 60$ import charge.

Nope. Comes with $17 shipping and 5% tax on the camera + shipping where I live. That's it.

Not sure what egregious taxes your crazy politicians inflict on you, but not a bad deal for Albertans.

That said, it is on par or better than buying the 18-55 kit ($349) and 22mm prime lens ($110 off ebay) separately earlier this year.

Even with the updated firmware, EOS-M has a really hard time because of fundamental problems with the hardware design. Would not buy. Wait for the new one: http://www.canonrumors.com/2013/11/the- ... -2014-cr2/
what kind of fundamental problems with HW design? likely, the new one will be sold at it's original regular price of 699.

+1

Maybe more than $699

And that kit would only come with 1 lens...

If you buy now and decide to get the newer model at least you will have 2 lenses and the flash ready...

Great deal.

Consider though that they believe the EOS M2 is arriving later this month, might be better to wait...

Nope, people are saying that it's coming out next year.

IIRC, when the EOS-M came out and the slow AF was being criticized, one of the sites (which I can't find right now but it might've been removed anyway since so many sites have revised their EOS-M reviews) had supposedly gotten an answer from Canon saying that the AF had more to do with a limitation in the hardware and that it would be fixed in the next generation. If that's true, the current firmware fix is more of a patch to get people by and might not be actually "in-spec".

Probably. This kit might be worth picking up just for the accessories. *shrug*
