Canon EOS Rebel T1i w/ 18-55mm IS Lens $585 after PM
canon Rebel EOS T1i (500D) with 18-55 IS kit lens
Staples has the T1i for $798 T1i on Staples
www.cameracanada.com has the T1i for $688. T1i on Camera Canada
Pricematch staples. There's $11.41 shipping at cameracanada so after the shipping adjustment, PM and 10% difference the quote staples gives you is $690.52.
Expiring June 15th there are $20 off $150 and $10 off $100 coupons (i got both from the staples coupon thread... people who posted their unused coupons this morning). Also used the $75 off $250 plastic postcard coupon that arrived in the mail.
So $690.52 - $75 - $20 - $10 = $585.52 + tax.
Staples of course makes you buy it first and then reply by email with your PM number. So i paid ($798 - 75 - 20 - 10) * tax = $784. I responded to the confirmation email with my PM number. I just got the reply indicating they refunded $122 to my visa. so $784 - $122 = $662. Which is correctly $585 * 1.13(tax) = $662.
PS. Tomorrow staples regular price goes back up $100 which means you could PM tomorrow and get an extra $10 out of the PM, but then you lose the ability to use the June 15 coupons.
However if they send out a new $20 off $150 coupon anytime in the near future before cameracanada raises their price, it will work out the same.

Everything done online. As described in my initial post I emailed in a pm first. Sent them the staples link and the cameracanada link. Stated the price difference. Politely asked for a pricematch.
A few hours later i got an email giving me a price match Reference number, stating that it was approved, and showing me the 'matched' price of $690.52. The instructions say to order it online. And when you get your confirmation email you reply to it with a copy of the price match email. A few hours later i received a reply to that stating that they had credited my visa the correct amount.
As for coupons, you can only use one of each type of coupon it seems. If i tried to use two different unused $20 off $150 coupons, the 2nd one wouldn't take. I could use one... or the other... but not both. In the end i was able to use a $75 off $250, a $20 off $150, and a $10 off $200 all on the same order.
Staples does next day delivery? who knew. The camera just arrived. Yay.
The Receipt shows $789.99 - $105 in coupons + tax for a total of $784.21. It doesn't mention the pricematch anywhere. Which makes sence since the order went through at this price and they just credited my card afterwards for the pricematch amount.

The funniest part about this is that i only meant to pricematch with www.henrys.ca. Henrys has it for $749. I figured since henrys is also a brick and mortar store and is 100% fully canon authorized i would get the pricematch. I sent in the cameracanada one just as a long shot, fully expecting it to be denied.
They denied the Henrys pricematch for $749 stating that the kit on henrys is different model number than the kit on staples. But they accepted the $688 pricematch to cameracanada.
Woot!

Better deal in the Past
I know that we don't have a time machine so I am posting this only for comparrison purposes only.
Six months ago I purchased the exact smae camera from the Amazon.com deal for what worked out to be $533 + tax (Canadian conversion). Do a search on the expired deals if you want the details.
