can't see animated smilies!??!?! FIXED, WAS A BROWSER ISSUE-'fix' was released.
I've NEVER had this issue before.
Just formated with a friends (hyper-turbo-grafixed) XP PRO CD that he makes himself and this is something I've noticed that has happened.
the
for example smilies doesn't flicker at the lips., basically ANY animated smilie that I would see on any forum doesn't animate. I will see the smilie, I will however only see one frame thereof. It will be a static smilie-not animated.
I'm using MAXTHON, but have tested in IE6, same results.
I do see the animated emoticons in MSN., just not in forums...I've installed FLASH...thinking THAT would be the issue...is there something that for the first time after installing (perhaps 6 times) Maxthon that defaulted that is disabling these?
HELP.

yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
finally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I did your suggestion from M only.
Hit OK
didn't change anything.
Upon closing M down, a build-update was released so I updated.
upon restarting the browser ONLy, it was resolved....so either the play animation or the build-update solved it.
I DID notice that in the window pop-up from M., one of the fixes reported was "fixed drawing error"...I'm banking on that being the error.
1.5.8 build 116 [2006-10-16]
* Fixed some drawing problem.

Drawing
The drawing problem refers to web pages being rendered
I think you had animations turned off so all animated GIFs were not playing.
Well, either way, you are laughing.
