This is a common problem - my accord antenna motor broke too, as did those on 2 of my friend's accords .
I just yanked it out and replaced it with a stationary one i bought from Canadian Tire.

car antenna won't retract
hi,
my honda accord antenna won't retract. When I turn the radio on or off, I can still hear the motor running. Where can I get it fixed? How much would it costs? Thanks.

To install the new antenna, have someone turn off the radio to make the antenna motor turn the other direction. At the same time, feed the new antenna in. It should grab the teeth and suck the antenna in. It is self adjusting. Turn the radio on and off a few times and it will sort itself out.
Put the nut back onto the base of the antenna. That's it.

yeah, this happened to my car last year. go to the dealer and find out how much it costs, and then go to can. tire and see if you can find a similar one and do it yourself. sometimes cars have a uniqued motor/attennae that can only be done throuugh oem parts.

Good idea but you'd want to make sure you wipe off all the excess gunk built up on the antenna first. That's usually what causes the jam in the first place.

Yep, sounds like broken teeth. The plastic ones break easily
