Car Audio Deck - future shop
Looking at the following deck from Future Shop:
http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...on=&langid=EN#

It's one of the few that I have seen with both an auxillary jack and usb.
2 questions:
1) What do you guys think about it?
2) How much typically does futureshop charge to install it?_______________
PET PEEVES:
#3: the leafs
#2: the BRICK!!!!
#1: BRICK employees who are leaf fans!

Do you not know how to match wire to wire and then tape them together with electical tape?!?! It takes no genious to do the job ... especially not for that deck. Why would you pay FS $50 + parts to do a simple job?
Buy a wiring harness, line up the wires, tape, and then its all about plug and play.
installdr.com btw

FS will do a fine job. I am pretty busy also so I had my deck installed there and they did a very professional job. Cheaper too than some "audio" specialty stores. But, it does depend on the store so go inside and see if they look like they know what they are doing. Where are you located?

They have regular prices like what you saw, but you might be able to get a discount of you are friendly with them. I know that at least for people who install a few things at once they give them a discount. Then again, good thing about regular prices is that if it takes longer to do then they expected the still charge the same price.

I have the exact same one and bought it 2 months ago from Futureshop.
1) for the past couple months of using it, I found it's really good for a basic radio /CD/mp3/USB player .... sound are pretty good to me... better than my previous/stocked stereo..
2) Futureshop usually charge $50 for installation but just talk to then and they will give you 50% off or if your lucky like I was ... they give it for free

OP - Just to let you know, If you do not already have a aftermarket stereo/audio system hooked up currently ... you have to buy a harness (I think that's what it's called) ... it's wirings which to connect aftermarket stuff
