Car audio specialists
Can anyone recommend a good audio specialist? Need help diagnosing why my left speakers aren't working and possibly installing new ones if they're blown.
Does Costco do this and if they do a good job?

No clue where you are located, but Auto-Links and Audio Heaven are two good options. Both are in the GTA.

Can you describe the problem?
Costco here doesn't install car audio. It's actually really easy to install yourself. I did it myself on my Mazda 3 one afternoon with a case of beer for the first time. Each door consisted of 2 screws and the panel just popped off. The speaker was then 4 screws and hooking up two wires.

I'm in the GTA.
The issue: my right front and rear speakers work. My left front and rear speakers do not work. However, sometimes, maybe from a bump in the road or something, they will come back on for a few minutes, then leave. Also, the front left tweeter works (barely), but the speaker itself doesn't.
I did pop open the door on the weekend. The wires looked fine and connected. Beyond this, I have no clue how to proceed. The only other way to test is to get some speakers and test on of the wires to really know if the speakers are really blown. The reason why I don't think the speakers are blown is that once in a while, they'll work. Then shortly after, they won't.
The speaker actually looked like it was glued? to the door, not screwed. How would I take them off?
If I try to DIY, do I just go to Walmart or CT or Part Source to get a set of speakers and hook them up via packaged install instructions?

If you want to troubleshoot you don't necessarily need new speakers. You can take your car speakers out and hook them up to a home receiver. Try doing that, run them for a while and see what happens. That way you can make sure things are okay.
Has the vehicle been in an accident? Or had things taken apart?
The break could be anywhere between the head unit and the speakers. First things first though, try hooking the speakers up to another source and make sure things are okay.
I wouldn't recommend a place like walmart or especially CT. Car speakers are not like house speakers. They say a size and it may not necessarily fit. IE: I've bought 6.5's for my doors and they were actually 6.75 so they wouldn't fit. I would go to a professional place and get their recommendation for speaker.
I highly doubt they're glued in. If they are that's a new one to me. Mine were screwed and had glued. I just took out the screws and pried with a screwdriver.
Also, if you couldn't get the speaker out of the holder how did you verify the cables were good?
