No no no no no. White on red or white on black. White on brown is just awful.
White with red is so gross.

if brown was an option when i was shopping for a highlander, i would have got it without question. i've had black leather in previous cars and won't do it again.

I would never want a white car with black dash and brown seats. It would have been fine if the entire interior was brown though.

WHY does it matter what everyone's preference is?
If you like brown, take brown. If you like black, take black.
Simple. Because some people can't make basic decision on their own, they need the approval of total strangers on internet forums. Three threads in one day, unbelievable.

Black. The brown/tan leather makes some of the black hard plastics look really cheap - especially in the 3rd row.

Then it's a no-brainer, i.e. black. Brown would look nasty w/ white, can't believe it's an option, usu some carmakers don't allow weird combos like that.
i completely disagree, I'd take brown with a white exterior

Back on topic though, for a Highlander, I'd go black leather. It's timeless.

That brown won't age nearly as well. Too bad they don't offer the Lexus Noble Brown - it's stunning in person.

Black is a safe bet. Red is just so damn tacky.

Got way too hot in summer, felt boring (just black everywhere especially since the rest of the trim was black/charcoal/carbon fiber, couldn't see contours and detail of seats) and it's just so common everyone and their grandma has black leather.

I would take dark brown like the Lexus, prefer it over tans and black.

A white car with a black interior and brown seats is an odd colour combination. Even though it's common, I'd go with the black seats in this case.
