car KEYED again!

A couple of years ago, the passenger side of my car (Mercedes C class) was keyed front to back. It was repaired under comprehensive portion of my insurance, with me paying $300 deductible.

Today I discover my driver's side is keyed front to back, and it seems to have been done while I was parked at work.

Of course I filed the police report and reported to insurance.

This is such a nuisance. Never mind the $300 I have to pay, but the inconvenience of having the adjuster look at the car, and waiting for days to have it repaired.

Why are there such evil people in the world?

The guy I suspected of doing it last time (whom I didn't accuse because I wasn't sure) was forced to resign over a year ago.

If you were the cause of his resignation, maybe he comes back once a year or so to do his yearly scratching of your car? grudge perhaps.

Nope....he was totally incompetent and that was the reason he was forced to resign. The people he reported to hated him as did his management after a while. If their cars were keyed too, then I would agree.

Set up a mini surv. camera inside the car, more than 1 if needed.

You can google and find some of those gadgets over the net. I've seen them before. It doesn't suck up much of the electricity from your battery, but it gets the job done.

This happens all the time to luxury cars like BMW Mercedes Lexus etc, people are just jealous.

Buy a Crown Victoria or Impala nobody would scratch it
