I am in the market for Converter that converts 12-volt (vehicle) power to 120-volt (household) power for my laptop ..

Is this overkill or right for this task .. Any thing else that converts 12-Volt to to 120Volt to power my laptop that is within this price range .. < $30

I belive thats the one I have.. it works as you would expect.
It's also not overkill, since 300W is the max output and only for short durations (I think it will overheat otherwise?).
