Hertz promo codes not working - june 2009
At the time of this post I tried the OP promo codes to book
error message came back
The Promotion Coupon - 127234 and Rate Code - TMCE combination you've selected is not available for this rental either because that location isn't participating or some requirement for the offer hasn't been met. We have removed the Promotion Coupon and Rate Code from your request to provide you with the best rate. There may be other offers in the Special offer section which do apply, so you could check there for an alternative. [DRX143]
The actual cost for the economy car at YYZ was $385.19 on a Saturday - Thursday 5-day rental
Are there any new codes or deals?
Thanks

Not sure about Alamo, but you are right about Enterprise. National allows cars to be driven out of Canada but the renter is supposed to tell the location of the intention to take it outside Canada.

That is not necessarily true. Certain car companies say it is unlimited mileage only if you drive it within the same province or a neighbouring province; if driven in the US, it may be restricted to something like 150/200 kms per day. See Thrifty as an example.

This is completely false about Enterprise.
They allow unlimited mileage in Ontario (so I'm guessing in your province)... and then say if you want to go to another nearby province or State (ex. Montreal or New York), you can for another $5 a day. Going to more southern states would add another $5. This is if you want unlimited mileage.
They also offer a limited mileage plan to other states/province with no additional cost... but if you go over it's like 25 cents a km... so I opted for unlimited... though they did offer more than enough kms...
Hope this helps... I've rented from them numerous times and know a lot of info.
