Hello i was talking about this topic at work today, and we stirred up quite an argument on which is better in terms of price, performance and excitement of driving.
I was wondering what you guys would choose if you had to pick between these 2 cars and please explain!
oops *edit* i meant bmw m5

Well one is the size of a Civic and the other is the size of an Accord, so it depends on whether you want a Civic or an Accord.

There isn't any E55 AMG, it has been replaced by the E63 AMG.
With that said, I can't decide I need to try them out
Though I'm tempted to say I rather have the Audi S6 due to it's styling alone.

RS4 is a beast... but why not save half ur money and get a 335i coupe. According to C&D it is faster on the track.

Why argue? Since this is hypothetical world, just buy one of each, M5, E63 AMG, S6, RS4, M3. Whatever everyone's happy.

I use to have a C36 and there were always arguements on which is better, M3 or C36/C43.
General consensus was:
If you want a smooth straight luxo ride that can go fast, MB.
If you wanted a sporty cornering luxo ride that can go fast, BMW.

M5 for me, only becaue it can be had with the proper transmission. If you need automatic, then you don't need 500hp.

You realize they had to detune the power for the manual because the manual transmission can't handle the torque, right?
Race cars don't have clutches or manual transmissions - they're too slow, get over it.

Saw one in the parking lot the other day, definitely a hot ride!
I would choose M5 over the E55 for sure just because the E55 is old.

Why not? Well because the 335i ain't no RS4 :P
LOL. Unfortunately the RS4 is horribly overpriced in Canada though.
