APA - good, but only if you need invoice - they didn;t have a dealer in my area
Carcostcanada - cheaper, got me an invoice PLUS a dealer offer...plus i have 4 more to sell
Don't know about the other one though...
It really depends on whether you can negotiate on your own or not...

Consumer Reports
Consumer Reports now offers a new car pricing service in Canada, here is the website http://www.crcanadacars.org/
I have not used this service yet so I can't comment on how good/bad it is

Does anyone know why invoice prices are free in the US, but not in Canada?
BTW, for CAA members, carcostcanda is the better deal.

If you live near Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver - it's a no-brainer. Use APA's service. It costs more, but they have good pre-arranged deals.
Elsewhere, you can find a car buying service, or use the invoice cost from anywhere and negotiate yourself.

What car are you looking for? I believe CarCostCanada have no pre-arranged price for Honda and Acura.

Right now, I'm vascillating between a Chev Malibu, Jeep Patriot, Kia Sportage and Kia Rondo. Keywords: inexpensive, fuel-efficient, kid-mover.

Personally, I am a little disappointed in Carcostcanada. There have been no updates for invoice pricing for some of the 2009 model cars that I have been researching. The 2009 Pontiac Vibe as well as 2009 Toyota Corrolla and Matrix are on the dealers lots now but there is no invoice pricing available. I am not sure if it is the manufacturers that are possibly holding back this info or not, however Carcostcanada's online support/email does not seem to be working to find out what is going on and when to expect this information to be available.
But for the vehicles that have invoice pricing available, I do like the service.
Just my 2 cents.

I purchased a CCC membership in October 07 and have yet to receive an unsolicited sales call from a dealership. Even when I had quotes generated, and an email sent out to a local dealership that CCC had sales arrangements made with I received no calls.
Is there anyone that has signed up for CCC and received calls "like no tomorrow" from dealerships?
